No case of similar symptoms found in the area except 2 nos. of diarrhea cases who are doing well after receiving ORS and antidiarrhoeal drugs. The death is due to suspected food poisoning. |

There was a pipe line breakage identified in the Kamarajapuram village and three out let valve damage in Allithurai cobained water system in Drinking water supply system in this villages . 24 OHTs in the above villages the residual chlorine is recorded by the Health Inspectors in this village on 06.05.12 is nil .This may contribute the present ADD outbreak.

All the field staff of the PHC Kulumani have been involved in the ADD surveillance and treated the ADD cases in the field.The pipe line breakage is rectified and chlorination has been strengthened in this village and ensure the residual chlorine 2ppm. And instructed the tank operator to give protected( chlorinated) water supply to this village daily.Instructed the field staffs to disinfect affected streets and houses with bleaching powder with lime and Phenyl. |

After two hours all the 4 family members having severe pain abdoman with vomiting and loose motion. They immediately admitted in KK Civil Hospital, Golaghat by 108 service.
